===== Comments
9V1UV: Poor propagation condx
AB0MV: the new shorter contest hours are not good! they cut out two
days of high band openings for North America stations. We can not work
as many stations with small antennas, please start the contest at 0000z
next year!!
AE0Q:0000z. The new starting time of 0700z means that North America
stations can only work the small JA stations on 15m or 10m on one day!
Instead of 3 afternoon openings on 15m and 10m, we now only have 1 day!!
This is hurting the JA stations with small antennas.
DF9ZP: first time i took part in jidx test.. just had my station put
up especially on 15m. 6el + 7el monobanders stacked. great fun.
see u next year...
DJ1AA: An interesting contest, but I had only some hours time. Hope to
be QRV longer next year. Greetings from Germany,
DU1EV: I worked more than fifty JA stations on six meter during he
contest. That should be credited as bonus points. Hi Hi
DU4JT: I'm suffering from a long power failure in my area, and the
band is not quite good.
K7ZSD: This is a fun contest from the west coast, one of the few contests
we have an advantage. Per tradition, the Japanese operators are the best
in the world, the only difficulty being the low power and QRP stations,
but with patience and their courtesy, all were given reports. The opening
on 15m was about 6 hours during the middle of the day Saturday making
this the most enjoyable contest of the year. The 5 over 5 homebrew stack
worked very well, along with the FT-1000D and homebrew amp. My humble
thanks to the JA operators for the QSO's, Brad K7ZSD
OZ1ADL:Very lousy condx between OZ and JA - Only very short openings on 15,
so not a lot of activity - but when it was open, I was quite busy !
I didn't hear much on 20 m either, so I went in and sent the baby sitter
home and played with my kids instead... But it was fun while it lasted -
Catch you next year in the Japanese International DX Contest

before. I have lost a great part of my possible QSOs and so might have
many others. Best 73 and lets keep interest to this contest!
